Teenage Immersion Programme
Our Teenage Immersion Programme is suitable for students (aged 13 to 17 years) who want to improve their English. Students are place with Irish host-families. All families have children of a similar age to the student. They are treated as part of the family. They hang out with Irish teenagers and take part in family activities.

The students are accommodated in Irish host-families who have teenage children of a similar age. The students live as part of the Irish family and do not attend classes. They are included in all family activities.The families are visited in advance and carefully selected by our coordinator. They must have children of a similar age to the student.
Students may be placed all around Ireland but not in the major cities. Most families live in a rural location where students are less likely to meet others speaking their mother tongue. We place mainly in counties Wicklow, Wexford, Carlow and Mayo.
Easter and June, July and August (arrival and departures on Wednesdays). Students can stay 2, 3 or 4 weeks.
Arrival and Departure
Students must arrive and depart on Wednesdays. They will be met in the airport by SK Dublin staff and taken by our private bus to meet their host-families. On departure students are collect by our private bus,. They are taken to the airport and assisted with check-in.
Our Saturday tours visit places such as Dublin, Wexford and Kilkenny. Students are taken to the meeting point by their families at 1000 and picked up again at 1900. They are guided and include some cultural visits. These tours are an optional extra. Students will meet others of the same nationality on these tours.
